As it takes a while for seeds to germinate/ start to sprout I thought it would be nice to offer some little activities the consumer could do whilst waiting for their plants to be ready.
I came across this unique idea as to how to make your own seed labels, it as a very simple but impactful technique and I think it looks a lot nicer than the common plastic labels you can buy. It is a lot more environmentally friendly too. This can be done with just an ordinary potato peeler therefore something which most people have in their homes.
As well as this I came across people using tin cans as plant pots which is another very environmentally friendly idea as it is using something which would usually be thrown away. The cans can be sprayed or left as they are therefore will match almost every interior/ garden.
I also really like this idea of using old spoons as hanging basket/ planter hangers. I think this makes use of more space, people may not have room on the floor in their garden but could hang something on the wall of their house or their garden fence.
