The final poster would be printed on a glossy stock, I think this would make the colours more impactful and bold. However the paper would need to be thin so that it is easy to fold down and work with. From its full A1 size the poster is folded into 8 landscape A4 pieces, this ensured that the text was still visible when the poster is folded down so people know what it is about.
