Pantone Booket Re-Designed

After looking back at the booklet I originally created I realised that the paper I had chosen wasn't suitable to show up colour well which was silly as the whole booklet is about colour.
I originally chose to print my booklet on a light grey smooth paper which was a similar shade to one of the colours I had swatched from my photograph. Due to this the paper worked well to show off my street photograph as it made the colours pop, however it did not show the Klein Blue images very well as it made them appear slightly dirty. I decided to change the paper to plain white yet to make it less boring I chose a paper with a nice texture that was a bit thick and a better quality than normal printer paper. To protect the booklet I chose to keep the thick cardboard covers  I had originally used as I think this makes the booklet feel luxurious and of a higher quality.  I chose to keep the same green card for the front cover as it goes nicely with the colours swatched inside but also looks attractive and makes the booklet stand out.
In terms of the book layout, I decided to change the booklet from a concertina to a normal folded book. I found the concertina booklet very hard to produce and workout, I also think booklets like this are more likely to rip and get damaged as they are pretty flimsy and people can struggle folding them back together which again causes damages.
