Logo Ideas - digital
The first digital developments are the ones above. Me and Danii decided we wanted to use a script typeface in combination with a sans serif typeface. We also played around with using a single colour, we wanted something that wasn't too girly but looked relaxing and related to the word bliss. We went for a blue/green colour that may look like a calm sea or summer sky. I like the brush stroke typeface as it looks hand crafted and has a personal touch.
After doing some initial designs I then experimented with different typefaces. I thought a serif typeface might work better as it looks more established and reliable.
From this I then went on to designing some more stereotypical bakery logos and used some quick illustrations of a spoon and a whisk I thought this would make it instantly recognisable as a bakery brand before even reading the name.
I then simplified this bakery imagery and made a simplistic looking rolling pun that can be used as a text box. I really like this idea as it makes it a bit more recognisable and is suitable for a bakery brand. I think these rolling pin ideas stand out amongst my other designs therefore this is the design I want to go for.
