COMMISSION
TRJFP Leeds are looking to rebrand with a shorter name – Food Revival ( Yorkshire) – and a wider vision and we need a logo to reflect what we do.
We will be focusing, as the name suggests, on revival:
• Food that is destined for bins at supermarkets being revived and put to great use
- The revival of family sharing of food and cooking
- The revival of old skills and knowledge around using food
- A revived awareness of food and associated waste and its cost globally in financial and global terms
- The revival of education about food in schools
CRITERIA
We are open to suggestions and want you to be creative. Some things to consider:
- Avoid green as the main colour – we want to stand out from other environmental organisations
- Think about the idea of revival – vintage might be a good look, with a celebratory feel
- Avoid brash colours
- Whilst we are relatively open about what we are looking for, there are a few things we don’t want to see – forks, cutlery, foxes and bins
WHAT WE WANT TO SEE
Provide a logo design with two examples of wording:
- Food Revival
- Food Revival Yorkshire
It would be useful if you could show the uses of this logo across different formats and platforms, for example, online (social media and website) and promotional (letterheads, business cards, packaging).
PRIZES
The selected artist will be awarded £150.
SUBMISSIONS
Please submit a digital concept (pdf or jpeg), including examples of how the logo might be used across different formats, with a brief statement outlining how you have answered the brief.
All submissions should be sent to careers@leeds-art.ac.uk. Following the deadline, all submissions will be passed onto the client for shortlisting.
DEADLINE: 9AM MONDAY 28 JANUARY
