Periods are seen as a taboo subject therefore this sort of imagery is perfect. It is very playful and cheeky. A lot of imagery like this can be seen when advertising sex related products as they are appropriate to be shown on tv, in magazines and in shops. I want to play on this idea of periods being a taboo subject and try normalise them.
