When looking through the freshers flyers etc that I kept when I was given them through freshers week I noticed that design was a big part of why I kept them. My favourite look comes from the ones provided by the uni as they are very design based. The colours are vibrant and the design work is unusual and striking.
This book contained need to know information about the uni and the staff etc, the theme from the cover of the booklet continues even stronger throughout the inside and becomes more exciting. It features an interesting geometric pattern which combines the red and green well. This pattern of circles and triangles in continued throughout the booklet as well as the red and green hues which I find really interesting as many publications would've missed out on this element.
I also kept this little concertina booklet which was about the student reps at uni, I didnt necessarily need it for the information but I really like the design of it and how small and compact it is.
