I started off by creating my own 90's inspired  pattern to use as a background in my design work. I decided to keep the colours very minimal and simply used a yellow from my Rugrat's colour palette I made previously, in addition to this it also matches the yellow colour associated with Art Pass's membership card.



I then started adding some text,  I wasnt too sure what to add therefore I repeated the word 'student' to grad the attention of students. I then added 'art pass' underneath this in the font xtreem 2 as I thought this was more fitting and suitable for the 90's theme I was going for.



I then changed the text to simply say 'student art pass' I thought this would be a good design to give away to students as a promotional device.



I then decided to change the colour to blue which again worked well with the student art pass colour scheme. I decided to place the text randomly as this is how the pattern is arrange therefore I found it suitable.

I decided to use this as my final idea and expand on from this further and apply this design onto other elements that I may need to design.
