ASOS magazine - Free

I recently received an ASOS magazine through the post which is a free publication, I decided to analyse this and look at the layout they use to interest people and make people buy their clothes. My booklet's purpose is to encourage people to plant seeds and grow their own fruit and vegetables therefore it relates in some way.

The booklet has a very edgy/ high fashion vibe to it which is obviously different to my purpose however I think it is important to look at a more diverse range of designs to inspire me and influence my designs.

 

As you can see the magazine uses a lot of images alongside text boxes, it is a lot different to the book about calm I looked at, this lay out is very hectic and interesting to look at.



This layout is a lot more simplistic and something I would like to try in my own design, however I will not be using photographs I will be using illustrations therefore I will need to incorporate them in some way.
