Make mine milk was a campaign which started in 2010 to encourage people to drink more milk, it saw a lot of famous faces promoting milk. Milk is a very healthy drink as a substitute for fizzy drinks and juice, as well as supporting the british farm industry. The campaign was initially fronted by Gordon Ramsay and Pixie Lott to promote the benefits of low fat milk, however many other celebrities got on board. The celebrates wore milk moustaches on the adverts above the slogan 'make mine milk' which appeared across posters and buses around the UK. The campaign was influenced by 'the white stuff' which was a similar campaign rolled out in scotland which saw in increase of 3.4% in milk sales. The campaign 'make mine milk' aims at encouraging teens and adults to drink more milk as it seems to be a habit which we grow out of as we get older. Since the mid 90's milk sales have plateaued in Great Britain and during this time the perception of milk amongst the public has become outdated. This campaign will spark a shake up of attitudes to milk and put it back on the map.
