I looked at the existing university logo and the fact it is such an unusual shape, this shape is used a lot throughout the uni and on their website so it is obviously something important to them. The shape comes from the mosaic on the Vernon Street building which is a very striking feature which many people know and love. This shape could be a consideration for my logo and I will keep that in mind.
