Sustainablility

Student Brief Competition

Sustainability Logo & Visual Identity

The Brief

The College would like to offer a paid opportunity to all students to design the logo for all sustainability activities and initiatives at the College. The Sustainability Committee has identified the need to visually identify all sustainability activities within the College in order to raise awareness of such initiatives and the positive work being carried out.

The successful designer[s] will be awarded £100.

Background & Considerations

Leeds Arts University recognises the importance of embedding sustainability within its practices, both operationally and educationally. We operate within a University Sustainability Framework, which helps educate our students about long-term, cultural, economic and environmental health and vitality, together with the importance of linking social, financial, and environmental well-being. The Sustainability Committee is responsible for promoting and embedding such work throughout the College. More information is available here and here.

The logo could be used across materials such as print and posters, recycling equipment and bins, digital content, competition and prize materials, awards and other promotional materials. Therefore the logo should be simple and flexible, consistently identifying all sustainability activities and campaigns across the Uni. A minimum submission is a logo but you may also want to propose or recommend a colour scheme and/or other graphics.

Your design ideas should be submitted as a 300 dpi PDF or JPEG by email to
